29th December – Roger brings carols and readings for the Christmas Season. Then Dave Stansbie presents ‘Carols for a very different Christmas’ for the second hour.
15th December – Annie Routley introduces and narrates Roger’s Christmas musical While Shepherds Watched. Then for the second hour, Graeme Russell brings us an hour of “A Christmas Mix”.
8th December – In the first hour, Dave Stansbie talks to the Director of Emmaus Bible School UK about the work of the school and his own faith journey. The second hour will be with two students who study with Emmaus from the Isle of Wight.
1st December – Roger Jones’ guest is singer, song-writer and director of Presence Worship Paul Critchley. Paul is also co-leader of Beacon House of Prayer. Then we join Debra Mayo for some Christmas thoughts and great music.
24th November – Roger talks to Lesley Cheesman about her faith journey and the remarkable work of Agape. Then Graeme Russell brings an hour of music and chat, and asks the question: Is it too early to get in the mood for Christmas?
17th November – Roger chats to singer, song-writer David Hadden, about his latest album “Heaven Sings”. Then for the second hour, Dave Stansbie brings an hour of music and poetry with special guest Chris Tench.
10th November – Roger welcomes at a “live” event at Beechwood Court, North Wales, with Prophetic Psalmist Heather Butler, who shares her story and demonstrates her amazing gift. She prophecies in song over Roger and others! Then Debra Mayo brings an hour of great music and reflection.
3rd November – Roger talks to Duncan Dyason about his amazing work with Streets Kids Direct in Guatemala. He shares his astonishing story. You will be deeply moved! Then Graeme Russell brings us an hour of music and chat in his usual gentle and soothing way – this week: “Finding Inspiration”.
27th October – Roger Jones talks to Jazz Musician turned Methodist Minister, Heather Simmons, about her international life in music and call to the ministry – a really exciting and entertaining story! Then Dave Stansbie brings a hour of inspiring music and chat.
20th October – This breast cancer awareness month, Roger speaks to Denise Phelps about her diagnosis and story. Then Debs Mayo leads us for a chilled hour.
13th October – Roger talks to Martin Graham, director of “As One” and the founder of the “On the Move BBQs”, and he will share some of his faith story and amazing ministry. 7-8pm – Graeme Russell brings an hour of ‘Talking about Thankful Praise’ – it will be so inspirational for us all!
6th October – Roger Jones talks to author, minister and speaker Steve Hepden about the story behind his book “Rejection Hurts”. Steve shares his own experience of past hurts and abuse, and how he found healing and wholeness in Jesus. 7-8pm – Dave Stansbie brings us an evening with Lou Fellingham and Phatfish. A truly great and inspiring celebration.
29th September – Join Debra Mayo for the whole 2 hours this Wednesday as she chats to the Head Teacher of Emmanuel Christian School in Walsall Jonathan Swain, followed by chatting to Donna Cuthbert a Parent and Teacher. Both sharing about the school and their journeys of faith.
22nd September – Roger talks to Richard Gamble – the man behind the concept of An Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer landmark. Then Graeme Russel leads the second hour with music and chat.
15th September – Roger interviews speaker, writer and spiritual director Amy Boucher Pye. Then Dave Stansbie interviews mother and daughter, Carol and Becky, about their work at New Life Baptist Church, Kings Heath plus their own faith journeys.
8th September – Roger speaks from a Christian Music Ministries music week in Rydal Hall, Cumbria, where he interviews guests about their lives and testimony. Then for the second hour Debs brings an hour of music and chat.
1st September – Roger speaks to Paul Harcourt, National Leader of New Wine, about his life and experience. Then Graeme brings an hour of thoughts and music to lift your soul.

28th July – A replay of Roger’s interview with Rob Parsons, founder of Care for the Family. Then Dave leads an hour focusing on the music and humour of Mark Lowry, best known for writing the lyrics to ‘Mary did you know’.
21st July – The subject of Roger’s interview this week is Gavin Calver, CEO of the Evangelical Alliance. Then Graeme brings music and thoughts on the subject of ‘Freedom’.
14th July – Roger interviews Rev Brian Hoare, musician, composer, and former President of Methodist Conference, about his life and work. Then Debs brings an hour of music and chat.
7th July – Roger talks to Emily Owen, who shares about her illness that robbed her of her hearing but how she has since become a leading Christian author and speaker. Then Dave Stansbie’s guest is Marten Holmes of the ‘Open Air Campaigners’.
30th June – Roger turns the tables and interviews fellow Heart & Soul team member Debs Mayo about her life, faith and music. Then Graeme brings an hour of thoughts, prayers and music on the theme ‘Looking for God’.
23rd June – Roger talks to Canon John McGinley, an Anglican vicar and church planter, who once sold beachwear to Princess Diana! Then join Debra for a sing-a-long week with some well known favourites and some light hearted banter, all to bring a smile and encourage you.
16th June – Roger talks to singer, broadcaster (and now retired Vicar) Cindy Kent about her radio & TV career, including her time with “The Settlers” and friendship with Sir Cliff Richard. Then Dave Stansbie interviews 4 Interns from Birmingham City Mission and brings a variety of uplifting songs.
9th June – Roger interviews Archdeacon Kevin Roberts, director of ReSource, about his ministry and faith journey. Then Graeme Russell talks to Adam Gompertz (The Rev), a pioneer minister with a passion for God and cars, about his journey from being a car designer to setting up REVS-Limiter.
2nd June – a special show for Pentecost as we play Roger’s musical Saints Alive! for the first hour, followed by Dave interviewing Anna Maria Kaminski, missionary / evangelist with Birmingham City Mission.
26th May – 2 hours with Debs chatting to Benjamin John (son of J John) about the work the Wilberforce Academy and Christian Concern, talking about the issue that face our society and church today, with music, the bible and prayers.
19th May – Roger interviews Jenny Nunn – Scottish singer-songwriter. Then Graeme brings thoughts and prayers with lots of beautiful music.
12th May – Roger Jones talks to internationally-known singer, composer, and teacher Michael Card. In a trans-Atlantic zoom interview Michael shares about his life and ministry, and interesting thoughts on music in worship. Then Debs, in her own unique and gentle way, brings a “chill hour” and music, readings and chat.
5th May – Roger talks to “Well-Being” Counsellor Philippa Allenby about her life and faith. Then Dave brings us a “mish-mash” of chat and music to lift your heart and bless you soul!
28th April – Roger talks to singer, song-writer, worship-leader Nicky Whyman, who tells her story of healing from MS, how God arranged her marriage, and the joy of singing in tongues! Then Graeme Russell brings an hour of music and chat, based around the theme of “worship”.
21st April – Roger interviews “Nic the Vic” Wood, Methodist minister with an amazing ministry in writing new songs for children’s worship. Then an amazing coup as Debs talks to evangelist and author J John.
14th April – Roger talks to poet and author Liz Carter about her life and work. It is a very moving and challenging interview. Her latest book is “Treasure in Dark Places”. Then Dave Stansbie brings an hour of the music of “Casting Crowns”, and a “smorgasbord” of reflections to lift your heart and bless your soul.
7th April – Roger interviews Ian Stott, local professional singer, songwriter and poet about his life and faith. Then Graeme brings happy thoughts in the light of Easter.
31st March – this special show begins with a complete playthrough of the original recording of Roger’s musical ‘Jerusalem Joy’ featuring his old Aston Manor School Choir. For the second hour Debs, Dave, Graeme and Roger get together and chat about their faith and favourite tracks.
24th March – Roger chats to Cheryl Jenkinson about her life and faith as a musician, Christian and mother of Alexander who has Down Syndrome. Then Dave Stansbie interviews Steve Bagnell, Care Centre Manager of Birmingham City Mission, about his vital work and faith journey.
17th March – Roger talks to Nigel and Julie Cameron-Hall about their faith and songwriting. On St Patrick’s Day they bring us tracks from their album “Celtish Home”. Graeme then invites us to share in an hour of music and chat.
10th March – Roger interviews internationally renowned speaker, writer and broadcaster Jeff Lucas, and then Debs chats to sisters Belinda and Jenny about their project ‘Pretty Prayers’.
3rd March – Roger talks to Simon Baker of ‘Community Bible Study‘ and then Dave interviews Rev Richard Pidgely from Millpool Hill Church, Kings Heath.
24th February – Roger Jones talks to New Wine National Leader Paul Harcourt, about his life and ministry followed by an hour of music and reflection about Lent with Graeme.
17th February – an exclusive interview with singer-songwriter Philippa Hanna, and then Debs chats to Jodi Whitehouse about the charity she set up for those with a rare skin condition.
10th February – Roger talks to singer, song-writer and worship leader Nigel Lloyd-Latham followed by an hour with Dave who chats to Henrietta Blyth of ‘Open Doors‘, the charity which supports Christians enduring extreme persecution throughout the world.
3rd February – An exclusive interview with Rob Parsons, founder of “Care for the Family“, then Graeme Russell leads a thought-provoking “Time to Talk”. He says “This week I am with myself, in fact it is me, myself & I sharing about work, mental health and prayer.”
27th January – To mark the week of the conversion of St Paul, we present Roger’s musical ‘Apostle’ followed by an hour with Dave.
20th January – Two hours of great music as well as Debs talking with guests TOUGH-TALK, two medal winning power and weight-lifters, about how God stepped into their lives which were spiralling out of control with drugs, violence and the occult.
13th January – Two hours of worship including an interview from Gavin Calver, Cheif Executive of the Evangelical Alliance, who talks about his hopes and vision for the exciting future of the church.
6th January – An epiphany special including thoughts and music from the musical Stargazers, as well as looking to the year ahead.
