Heart and Soul broadcasts every Wednesday 6-8pm (repeated on Sundays from 9-11am) on brumsideradio.com, with chat, interviews and various styles of worship music – to lift your heart and bless your soul!
Roger, along with Debra Mayo, Graeme Russell and Steve Robinson, all bring their unique styles and backgrounds as they host the Heart & Soul show which is broadcast on Brumside Radio. This provides a wonderful opportunity to have
a Christian show aired on a secular station and though based in South Birmingham (UK), the show is listened to across the world.
The first half of the show is usually a pre-recorded interview with people from all walks of life and with very different stories and life experiences. Previous guests have included Adrian Plass, Fiona Castle, Ann Widdecombe, Chris
Bowater, Dave Bilbrough, Lou Fellingham, Jonathan Veira and many more! There have also been interviews with several Bishops, local church leaders, church youth groups, missionaries and various charities too.
The second half of the show is usually live in the studio* with the team chatting to various local guests. All of the chat is interspersed with a variety of Christian music – from Rutter to Rend Collective and Handel to (Tim) Hughes!
Throughout the ‘lockdown’ period of Covid-19, Heart and Soul are also presenting a special Sunday Morning Service, led by Rev Simon Gudger, who presented the show with Roger and Debra when it first started.
