28th December – Roger Jones brings his Christmas musical ‘While Shepherds Watched‘, narrated by Annie Routley. Then Graeme Russell is still following the wise men and that star.
21st December – Christmas double-bill: ‘Home for Christmas with the Team’ – music, fun & chat with the whole Heart & Soul team of Debra Mayo, Dave Stansbie, Graeme Russell and Roger Jones.
14th December – Roger brings readings, carols and songs – traditional, contemporary and in-between! Then Dave Stansbie features “Home for Christmas” – music, readings and poems
7th December – Roger presents a whole hour on mental health awareness – honest and frank interviews with Dr Jo Barber and Emma. Then Graeme Russell is getting us through the Christmas busyness with Christmas songs – you will be blessed! [awaiting link]
30th November – Roger talks to performance story-teller, writer, ventriloquist Amy Robinson [repeat]. Then Debra Mayo hears from Birmingham duo Clifford & Jaqueline Martin with a new track along with some of the usual great tracks including Christmas songs.
23rd November – Roger interviews Paul Critchley – singer-songwriter and worship leader about his life and faith [repeat]. Then Dave Stansbie leads us for an hour of music with Noel Richards.
16th November – An hour of worship and testimonies recorded at this year’s CMM Music Week at The Pleasaunce, Overstrand, Norfolk. Then Graeme Russell brings another hour full of thoughts and music on the subject of time, places and spaces.
9th November – Roger interviews well-known pioneer of the Alpha Course, Nicky Gumbel about his work and mission – a great chat! Then join Debra Mayo as she finds out why her guest Gareth Fitzpatrick, now a Mission and Evangelism Enabler for the Diocese of Coventry, ran away from school, how he coped with a stroke in his 20’s, along with a great project called The Collective.
2nd November – Roger interviews Lesley Cheeseman, UK director of Agape as she shares her story and mission through the organisation. Then Dave Stansbie speaks to Gareth Bolton about his work an international Christian mission agency, Operation Mobilisation, his charity Amen and his work teaching for Oakhall Expeditions. It’s a packed show this week!
26th October – Roger interviews Rachel Gidney who shares her testimony of how, becoming a Christian at age of 3 and called to mission at 8, she is now fulfilling her calling in Kimilili, Kenya. Then Graeme Russell brings an hour of thoughts and music.

12th October – Roger talks to harpist, lay-reader and retired teacher Mary Withers about her amazing faith journey and her latest project Sensory Church. Then Dave Stansbie talks to Wendy Schipper about Care for the Family.
5th October – Roger interviews Timon Robins, leader of Betel Church in Birmingham and a former heroin addict for over 20 years, shares about how his life and the work of BetelUK. Then Graeme Russell brings music and thoughts.

14th September – Simon Gudger leads us in a service in honour of Queen Elizabeth II.
7th September – Roger interviews former member of Heartbeat, now director of New Generation Music, Nancy Goudie about her faith journey, the loss of her husband Ray and about her Spiritual Health Weekends. Then Debra Mayo talks to to Clifford & Jacqueine Martin, husband and wife duo from Birmingham about their life and ministry along with some of their great tracks.
27th July – Roger talks to worship leader and singer-songwriter David Hadden about his latest album Heaven sings and the message behind it. Then join Debra Mayo with her special guest Ray Harris, also known as “Daddy Ray”, playing some of his tracks, and Debs shares her thoughts for this week.
20th July – Roger interviews Alan Walker – Insurance loss-adjuster, blood-biker, licensed lay-reader, etc. before a live audience at Rydal Hall, Cumbria. Then Dave Stansbie leads us for an hour.
13th July – Roger talks to author, speaker and retreat leader Amy Boucher Pye about her life and work [repeat]. Then Graeme Russell returns with an hour of inspiring music and chat on the theme of “following up”.
6th July – Roger introduces tracks from the revised Saints Alive! musical before it’s premiere on Saturday, 9th July. Then get your vocal chords ready and join Debra Mayo for a singalong hour of popular worship songs.
29th June – Roger interviews singer-prophet Heather Butler, who shares her faith journey and sings prophetically over folk “live” at last year’s Beechwood Court music week [repeat]. Then Dave Stansbie brings an hour of Singing the Psalms.
22nd June – Roger is delighted to broadcast his interview with Chris Bowater who shares some of his faith journey, ministry and inspirational music. Then we have hour of music and chat with Graeme Russel who, in his usual gentle way, says “I am sharing the dream”.
15th June – Roger talks to singer-songwriter Nigel Lloyd-Latham about his music ministry, faith journey, including the grief of the death of his wife at a young age. Then Debra Mayo leads us with some relaxing music and chat.
8th June – Roger shares an hour of music for Pentecost. Then Debra Mayo brings us music inspired by the scriptures.
1st June – Roger plays the entire musical Saints Alive! -1981 version, telling the story of the birth of the church from Acts 1-2. (The new version is coming in July!) Then Graeme Russell is sharing a few holiday reflections.
25th May – Roger talks to Dunc Dyason MBE about his amazing ministry with the street kids of Guatemala, Street Kids Direct [repeat]. Then Dave Stansbie brings an hour of gospel music with singer-songwriter Taleisha Hutton.
18th May – Roger talks to internationally-known singer-songwriter Philippa Hanna – she shares about her faith journey and plans for future [repeat]. Then Dave Stansbie will be talking to Jeremy Peckham, founder of Africa Rural Trainers and expert in Artificial Intelligence.
11th May – Roger talks to Paul Jones (lead singer in Manfred Mann) and his wife, TV presenter and RSC actress Fiona Hendley – lots of music, memories and a great message. Then Graeme Russell shares about listening, being in the moment and a shepherd!
4th May – Roger talks to Methodist minister, composer and hymn-writer Brian Hoare about his life and work. Then join Debra Mayo and chill out for an hour with some softer music.
27th April – Roger talks to Nick Cuthbert about his ministry, including Youthquake (Birmingham Cathedral), Riverside Church etc. Then Dave Stansbie brings chat and music with Chris Winters, retired pastor from Marston Green Baptist Church.
20th April – Roger introduces songs and testimonies from his latest collection Songs of Easter. Then Graeme Russell is celebrating the joy of Easter and shares an hour of Spring Harvest Songs.
13th April – As we head for Easter Sunday, Roger shares his musical Jerusalem Joy. Then join Debra Mayo as she brings to us the usual great music, bible and thoughts for Easter.
6th April – Roger interviews author, performance story-teller, ventriloquist Amy Robinson who tells her story and get us involved with another one! Then Dave Stansbie brings and hour of Music and reflection around seven days that changed the world.
30th March – Roger talks to Freda Carey, a mission partner in Pakistan, about her work and calling – includes worship songs in Urdu and Punjabi. Then Graeme Russell shares his thoughts on feeling “Wanted, Accepted & Loved”.
23rd March – Roger talks to Methodist Minister and Football Club Chaplain Stephen Levett about his life and ministry [repeat]. Then join Debra Mayo for some great music and reflection on “letting go”.

9th March – Roger talks to singer-songwriter, children’s and families worker Caroline Mara about her faith, life and music. Then Graeme Russell brings an hour of thoughts on hope, faith, Lent reflections.
2nd March – Roger leads an hour of prayer and thought for Ukraine, including thoughts, prayers and Ukrainian music. Debra Mayo then brings songs, thoughts and prayers of faith and hope.
23rd February – Roger introduces his new collection Songs of Easter, with comments from many of those who took part in the recording. Then Dave Stansbie brings music and chat with The Azardi Trust – a Christian outreach in Small Heath / Bordesley Green.
16th February – Roger interviews Christopher Landau, ordained minister, musician, former BBC reporter, who now leads ReSource (formerly Anglican Renewal Ministries). Then Graeme Russell shares about Passion: What’s your passion? Passion stirring and passion overflow!
9th February – Roger talks to vicar Dele Sotonwa about his faith journey and his dramatic call to ministry. Then Dave Stansbie introduces songwriters, singers and speakers Dave & Mandy Scott-Morgan.
2nd February – Roger interviews founder and director of Sporting Marvels, Phil Davies – former rugby player – an incredible testimony and great ministry amongst young people. Then Debra Mayo and her special guests this week Amazing Grace (11) and Anointing Shalom (7) share their new song ‘Have Hope’ – featuring songs by Sonia King – all members of the New Testament Church of God.
26th January – Roger plays his musical Apostle (Acts 9 – Conversion of St Paul). Then Graeme Russell brings an hour of music and chat, asking the question: “What’s your story?”
19th January – Roger interviews Daniel England, Methodist Local Preacher, and Founder/Director of Vine Youth Ministry. Daniel talks about his faith and work amongst young people and we listen to some of his latest songs. Then we join Debra Mayo with the usual great music and a quiz.
12th January – Graeme Russell brings an hour all about wellbeing. Then Dave Stansbie features an hour of music from christian folk band, Rend Collective.
5th January – Roger presents The Making of a Musical – the creation and launch of Three Wise Camels – interviews with Jane Hicks, Tim Jones, Annie Routley, Helen Pollard and others. The second hour contains a play through of the whole musical, featuring soloists Jennifer Molyneux, Bob Deakin and Simon Gudger.
