On Saturday 26th February, 2:00 PM-4:30 PM at Holy Trinity Lickey, we will be doing a “live” launch. many of the soloists off the recording will be present and we will have a great time in learning and singing the songs together. There is nothing more potent in writing terms than when you realise that these songs ACTUALLY mean something to the person who has written them! Also, it is noteworthy to remark on the ‘playability’ and ‘singability’ of Roger’s compositions, which makes them more or less ready for the average church music group / ensemble. With the possible exception of some of the more intricate brass writing, these songs are able to be approached by a four-piece (piano, bass, drums, guitar) group which most churches could supply. I heartily recommend this collection.
We’re really looking forward to sharing this exciting project with you, and believe that God is going to do some great things with it.
