Happy New Year!
2025 looks like being a unique and interesting year, and certainly at CMM we are excited about how things are going to turn out. As you may have heard I was hospitalised just before Christmas with a very nasty UTI and ended up for 36 hours on an intravenous drip. I was let out in time for Christmas lunch but am finding it necessary to have a fairly lengthy time of rest and recovery.
Mary is awaiting dates for knee and ankle replacements, so there is a feeling of uncertainty about future activities, but we are trusting the Lord to work things out in his own way. I am reminded of those wonderful words:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your path straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
We have decided to keep our Christmas lights up until Candlemas, 2nd of February, the 40th day of (and the conclusion of) the Christmas to Epiphany season. Candlemas commemorates the presentation of Jesus at the Temple of Jerusalem, referring to him as the light of the people of Israel and indeed of us all. Our musical SIMEON tells this story.
We have many resources for Easter including the 2023 release Songs of Easter.
There are many Easter related videos available on YouTube. Here are some highlights with an introduction to our Easter products from myself and Annie:

Friends, for you, this year and always, we pray:
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Rom 15:13)
