One of my favourite roles within CMM for the last fifteen years has been as musical director for CMM Choir. Since February we have been learning and rehearsing Roger’s latest musical ZAC – and on Sunday 11 May we have the first of our seven local productions. Do come and see this uplifting musical – dates and venues are below.
Would you like to come and sing with us? CMM Choir is open to anyone who enjoys singing and fellowship, and the opportunity to share the good news through music. There is no need for you to audition, and you don’t need to be able to read music, as we have words copies available. We meet on Monday evenings at Harborne Baptist Church and on Tuesday evenings at Christ Church, Ward End. And if you would like to hear more about CMM Choir, do listen to the Heart & Soul programme broadcast on 2 October 2024 (via the CMM website ‘Heart & Soul’ archive), celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2020 (delayed somewhat by the pandemic!) and featuring favourite Roger Jones songs from the musicals chosen by past conductors and current choir members. And we hope to see you at one of our ZAC performances in the next few weeks.
