I really love the seasons of the year with all the many differences and disciplines: the expectancy of Christmas, the anguish focussed love of Lent and Holy Week, the joy of Easter and the extraordinary life of Pentecost. It’s good to go through these in turn throughout the year, but it’s also important to remember that in a very real sense it’s always Christmas, it’s always Holy Week, it’s always Easter and most certainly it’s always Pentecost!
At CMM we always enjoy approaching Easter. My first musical written 50 years ago JERUSALEM JOY, with its final line “Jesus is alive today”, a banner of truth and love over us all! So many of our musicals involve retelling and experiencing the story, for example MARY MAGDALENE, PHARISEE, TWO SISTERS & A FUNERAL, and more, but I would also like to highlight SONGS OF EASTER, not a musical but a collection of songs that reflect the reality and promise of Easter hope. Our prayer is that this collection will be a real blessing to many.

Several of you responded generously to my January financial appeal – we are so grateful and could not continue without such support. But I’m sure there are more of you who would like to help us in this way. We are grateful for all donations, but especially value the monthly contributions, no matter how small!
So please keep in touch, tell others about us, and do try to join in some of our events. Maybe we could look for a future date to come to your church or area?
Roger
