Dear friends,
Another month has passed where choirs and congregations are unable to sing together here in the UK. We know this situation has been so hard and painful for many people. However, we do know that even if the satisfaction of hearing the sound of our voices joining together to praise is still far off, our ultimate satisfaction is in Jesus, the one we worship and adore. As we draw close to Him, we know that:
The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail. (Isaiah 58:11)
Zoom Singalong News:
Our next opportunity to join together in fellowship is on Monday (5th July) at 8pm for our FROM PHARAOH TO FREEDOM Zoom singalong evening. Annie has put together some videos using wonderful new artwork from George Hicks. There are still about 30 places left, so if you would like to join please email Helen on events@cmm.org.uk and she’ll send you the code. Email sooner rather than later though, because she will reply to the emails in the order they come in. If you don’t hear from her immediately, don’t panic – she’ll check her email over the weekend if she can, but it might be as late as the afternoon on Monday before you hear from her.
In Person Singalong News:
We have once again booked the Coton Centre in Tamworth for a very special THREE WISE CAMELS massed choir and orchestra day on Saturday 6th November. Booking forms and online booking options are just being organised, so do contact events@cmm.org.uk to receive the details as soon as they are available. We are really looking forward to gathering again – if you haven’t been in the past, it truly is a wonderful occasion. You don’t need to learn the musical beforehand – come and learn it from scratch on the day! We are thrilled that Jenny, Simon and Bob – soloists from the CD – are due to be with us too.
